The success of Bivanga has rewarded Selvatici for years of studies and technical tests. The Bivanga is a unique tool of its kind so as to be covered by a European patent. In 1987, when it was presented to the public, it was awarded the EIMA Technical Innovation Award and was one of the first tools recognised as innovative by Law 752. In recent years, the Bivanga has achieved excellent results.
The second spade, during the movement of the ascent exerts a vigorous rotary effect that
  • buries even the longest stubble deep underground, accelerating its decomposition.
  • buries manure or fertilizer in depth.
  • buries all residues (leaves, shrubs, etc.) of previous crops.
  • further breaks the soil.
  • thanks to the action of the leveller, the Bivanga allows to obtain in a single pass the soil ready for sowing.
It has therefore proved to be the ideal tool for floriculturists and horticulturists. The spades can be positioned in 6 different ways, allowing you to vary the depth of work, its speed and the burying. This multi-functionality has no competition of any kind. In the most valuable crops, the Bivanga gives superior results. In greenhouses, it can easily be used to sow the entire surface. The soil is evenly worked over the entire width and to the maximum depth.
The Bivanga can easily be fitted with tools designed to carry out the simultaneous convexing of the soil, a very important operation to facilitate the flow of water in horticulture and floriculture. The stone buriers are easily adjustable and allow you to go directly from the previous harvest, to the ground already convexed and ready for sowing. Safety protections in accordance with UNI 10634. The machines are represented, in some cases, without safety guards to allow a better view of the internal organs.


In configurations 1-2-3-4 the Bivanga performs the work in the described terms at different depths, up to the maximum possible. The speed cannot exceed 1.5 Km/h 0.95 miles/h.
 
In configuration 5, you reach the same depth as a normal spading machine but, at the same speed, you get a much more fragmented soil. It is also possible to increase the working speed of the Bivanga to 4.5 km/h 2.8 miles/h, obtaining the same fragmentation as the spading machines, at practically double the speed.
 
In configuration 6, the Bivanga obtains the performance of a spading machine of the same series (or crank radius). Since it becomes lighter (weight in brackets) when the rear supports and spades are removed, it can be used with smaller tractors.
